Howdy! 👋 My name is Araya, pronounced as "uh-ray-uh," reminiscent of sunshine. Raised in a quaint mountain community just beyond Boulder, CO, I'm a digital design enthusiast with a Bachelor's degree from CU Denver, forever chasing creativity's wild winds.

In my design approach, I prioritize intuition, inspired by Paul Rand's words: "Design is so simple that's why it's so complicated." I thrive on the challenge of intuitive design, finding satisfaction in researching and crafting simple solutions that just work. With a mix of technical prowess and creativity, I dedicate myself to client projects, focusing on user-centric design to drive business value and shape behavior. As a Creative Visual Designer, I'm on a mission to turn the ordinary into something extraordinary, crafting compelling narratives from the fabric of everyday life. I specialize in crafting compelling visual designs to enhance brand identity and product storytelling. From responsive web design to motion graphics and branding, I have a knack for various software applications that require an artistic vision and an elegant execution. My goal is to create engaging assets that bridge the gap between clients and products, pushing industry standards and fostering impactful brand experiences.

I am actively pursuing a full-time, remote position. Previously, I held the role of Lead Senior Designer at Happy Cabbage, a groovy tech startup, where my primary focus was curating educational course experiences tailored for top cannabis brands on our mobile platform.
